Chamayavilakku festival is celebrated on the 10th,11th day of Malayalam month “Meenan”(it's around  March ). The duration or no of days of festival 2 days. During that period thousands of men participated in this festival .now a day's devotees come from other Indian states and out of the country. most devotees are participating for 2 days. some people are participating only one day only. mainly events happened the evening  12 clock. the full-time men(devotees ) are dressed up as a woman and carry wooden lap
